You have to take a US-certified exam.
You also need to have a passport, driver’s licence and be a US citizen.
The process is even more complicated if you plan to live in a country with a different passport system.
Fifth, you’ll need to get a US visa.
This visa can take anywhere from one to five years.
In Canada, it’s only valid for one year.
It’s a huge undertaking, but it’s not something you should think about just yet.
